Description
11 sheet 1 x 1 m map engraved by Franz Müller and printed in Vienna, in 1800. Long-time considered a revised and reduced edition of Rigas’ Map of Hellas, the Pinax of Anthimos Gazis is in fact “an entirely different map”, as Maria Pazarli has compellingly shown. For instance, it includes the island of Cyprus.
